GLOBAL LEADERBOARD IS LIVE

The global leaderboard is now open. Lightning mode runs can be submitted to compete with players worldwide — daily, weekly, and all-time boards are live and refreshing every ten minutes.

Submission is opt-in and requires no account. Your handle — the nickname you set in Settings, or the auto-generated one assigned at first launch — is the only identifier attached to a score. It can be renamed any time in Settings.

The first storm rider on the All-Time board will be remembered there permanently. At the time of writing, the hall is still empty. Scores are signed and validated server-side to keep the board honest — no hand-edited runs, no inflated waves. The leaderboard reflects the game.

SECTORS BRING MACRO-PROGRESSION

Runs now pass through four named sectors: Warmup, Pressure, Stormfront, and Overdrive. Each sector introduces harder operators and faster fall speeds. The progression is deliberate — you earn the difficulty.

Between each sector, there is a four-second cooldown beat. The equations pause, the music ducks, a short three-note motif plays. Then the next sector opens harder than the last. That beat is intentional design: it gives you a moment to exhale, to reset your hands and your attention, before the stakes rise again.

Before sectors, runs escalated too quickly without rhythm. A player could be overwhelmed in the first thirty seconds, or cruise through the first two minutes without any meaningful pressure. Sectors give each run a beginning, middle, and end — a shape that makes improvement legible. You know when you've reached Stormfront. You know what Overdrive means.
