HOW TO PLAY
Three lives. Falling equations. One storm.
SECTION 01
THE LOOP
Equations fall from the top of the screen. Three answer bubbles wait at the bottom — tap the correct one before the equation hits the floor. Every correct answer scores points and builds your combo. Every wrong tap or missed equation costs a life. You start each run with three lives. When the third life is gone, the run ends and your score is locked.
SECTION 02
SECTORS — THE JOURNEY
Every run passes through four sectors. Each sector introduces harder operators and faster fall speeds. The difficulty doesn't creep gradually — it steps up at defined thresholds, so you always know where you stand.
The opening minute. Simple sums, rising speed.
Subtraction enters. The first real tension.
Multiplication enters. The equations start to sting.
Division plus grouped equations like (4 + 3) × 2. The endgame.
Between sectors, a four-second pause — the Eye of the Storm — gives you a breath. The music ducks, a three-note motif plays, then the next sector starts harder than the last.
SECTION 03
COMBO & FRENZY
Every correct answer in a row builds your combo. Higher combos multiply your points. One wrong tap or one missed equation — combo resets to zero. Base score is 10 points per correct answer.
At combo 10, you enter FRENZY — a ×4.0 multiplier that turns every correct answer into serious points. Frenzy is the peak. Protect it.
SECTION 04
THE STORM EYE — YOUR DEFENSIVE CONSUMABLE
Press and hold the Storm Eye button (bottom-right) to slow the falling equation. Use it when you're overwhelmed — a mid-air panic break.
You start each run with 10 seconds of fuel. The bar at the bottom of the screen shows what's left. Maximum capacity is 15 seconds.
Fuel drains while held, refills slowly while you play normally. The refill rate increases as you climb sectors — Overdrive refills three times faster than Warmup.
+2 sec when you hit FRENZY · +1 sec on each clutch catch (answering in the last 18% of the fall) · +3 sec on a panic rescue.
While the Eye is held, your combo multiplier freezes at ×1.0 even if your combo is in FRENZY. The Eye keeps you alive — but it doesn't let you farm points safely.
The Storm Eye appears at the start of Sector 2, not at the start of the run — you learn it when you need it.
SECTION 05
LIVES & RESCUE
THREE LIVES
You start each session with three lives. Lose them all and the run ends.
GRACE PERIOD
The first three equations of each run never cost a life. A warm-up guarantee.
LAST LIFE WARNING
At one life remaining, the music shifts and a heartbeat layer plays underneath. The screen tints red at the edges.
PANIC RESCUE
Land three correct answers in a row while on your last life and you earn one back. Available once per run — spend it wisely.
SECTION 06
THE LEADERBOARD
Lightning mode runs can be submitted to the global leaderboard if you opt in. Daily, Weekly, and All-Time boards refresh every 10 minutes. Submissions are capped at 50 per day per IP (and 30 per day per nickname on a given IP) — extra runs in the same day still play normally, they just aren't recorded. See where you stand →
