Your Data
My Data
NumStorm is designed to be as private as possible. Here is exactly what we hold and what you can do about it.
What we store about you
NumStorm does not require an account, email address, or any personal information to play.
If you choose to submit a score to the leaderboard, we store:
| Data | Purpose | Public? |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname | Identify your entry on the leaderboard | Yes |
| Score & wave | Rank players on the leaderboard | Yes |
| Game mode | Separate Classic / Blitz boards | Yes |
| Country code | Display a flag next to your entry | Yes |
| IP hash (one-way) | Rate-limit submissions (max 10/day) | No — expires after 24 h |
| Submission timestamp | Period-based leaderboards (today / week / all-time) | No |
If you did not submit a score, we hold no data about you whatsoever.
What Google Analytics collects
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase. Google collects anonymised usage events (session length, screens viewed, crash reports). This data is aggregated — it is not linked to your nickname or leaderboard entry — and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of analytics collection in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Analytics; Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).
Request access, correction, or deletion
To see, correct, or delete your leaderboard entries, email us at [email protected] with the subject line Data Request and include your in-game nickname. Because submissions are pseudonymous, we may ask you to verify ownership by submitting a test score from the same device.
We will respond within 30 days.
No data to delete?
If you never submitted a score, there is nothing to delete. Simply uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data (your nickname preference and personal best) from your device.
